IT-PHITS – Healthy Love Pregame Party

This project aims to enhance HIV prevention and increase PrEP uptake among women in the Southern U.S. by leveraging key partnerships and expertise.

Through our collaboration with GFPS, Metro Atlanta family planning clinics, and community-based organizations led by SisterLove, we are implementing a community-driven approach to address barriers to PrEP access.

Our team at Emory brings extensive expertise in women’s health, HIV prevention, implementation science, and community organizing. Using data gathered from community interviews in the four Metro Atlanta EHE high-priority counties, we have tailored SisterLove’s existing sexual health education program to meet the specific needs of women in these communities.

Currently, we are working to engage and empower community members to deliver sexual health education and expand access to PrEP where it is needed most.

Launch is an innovation accelerator that ignites innovations to address disparities in youth sexual health. We believe that everyone deserves access to solutions that improve sexual health outcomes. Launch is made possible through a collaboration among RTI International, Power to Decide, SisterLove, Healthy Teen Network, and Youth Collaboratory.
