Mikayla Meachem

Mikayla Meachem joins SisterLove as a recent graduate from Pace University with a Bachelor of Arts in Peace & Justice Studies and Women’s Gender Studies, along with minors in Criminal Justice and Non-Profit Studies. Mikayla supports all internal and external communications functions, focusing on supporting SisterLove's programs through social media posts, campaigns, events, and serving as the point person for the SLI newsletter, RJ Our Way. Mikayla served as a Communications Intern for three years before officially joining her current role. Outside of work, Mikayla is passionate about advocacy for social justice and has presented her research at various academic conferences. She also enjoys writing poetry and exploring the vibrant art scene in New York City.
