Dr. Reyna Patterson, DHA, MPH, is a distinguished public health professional and researcher with a deep commitment to improving community health outcomes, particularly in the field of reproductive health. As a Community-Based Research Coordinator at SisterLove, Inc., Dr. Patterson brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion to her role, where she plays a critical part in leading and supporting community-based research initiatives.   

Dr. Patterson's educational background includes a Doctorate in Health/Healthcare Administration/Management from Virginia University of Lynchburg, a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Policy and Management from Emory University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Spelman College. Her academic foundation has equipped her with the skills and expertise to conduct rigorous research, analyze health policies, and manage complex healthcare projects.

Before joining SisterLove, Inc., Dr. Patterson served in various research and public health roles, including positions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia. These experiences have broadened her understanding of public health challenges and strengthened her ability to design and implement effective health interventions.   

Dr. Patterson's recent accomplishment of obtaining grants and resources to support program initiatives demonstrates her resourcefulness and dedication to ensuring the sustainability of vital health programs. Her focus on addressing critical health challenges, such as HIV prevention, and her commitment to fostering strong partnerships with community stakeholders align seamlessly with SisterLove, Inc.'s mission to advance health equity and empower underserved communities.
