Sybil Miller
Vice President, Programs and External Affairs
As the Vice President of Programs and External Affairs for SisterLove Inc., Sybil serves as spokeswoman and is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic vision to guide communications’ work that is interconnected with SisterLove Inc.'s mission, vision and values. She also fosters collaborative relationships with external and internal partners and leads public relations campaigns, branding, messaging, media, and social media.
She is responsible for advancing SLI’s visibility and increasing awareness in Georgia, nationally and internationally. She serves as a liaison between the organization and its community stakeholders and is a member of the agency’s Senior Management Team.Prior to this position, Sybil served as director of communications for Walmart International in Bentonville, AR and division director of communications and government relations for American Red Cross, Bio-medical Division, Rochester, NY. While with the Red Cross, she served as a spokeswoman for both 911 and Katrina.
She has a BA in Broadcast Journalism, has earned several awards for her work in corporate communications and is a longstanding member of Public Relations Society of America, International Association of Business and Communicators, National Black Public Relations Society and the Association of Health Care Journalists.
